WIZARD remains active until the input is completed and you can advance a page with the Continue key or go back to the previous one with the Back key.
If you do not use the Cancel button that ends the data entry, you get to the last page and then the Tooth Profile is created with the End button.

If the 'Known' radio of 'Conjugated gear' options is selected, the WIZARD dialog shows also the pages for conjugate wheel input data.

Activates the SLIDING DATA EVALUATION check to display a diagram showing the values of the specific sliding data resulting from the data imposed and those optimized by the program through the calculated data.
The Y axis corresponds to the Primitive Diameter and divides the diagram into two parts: to the left, what happens under the diameter ( Dedendum ), to the right what happens above the diameter (Addendum).
In the example below, the red line indicates the high sliding of the generated wheel (assigned data, no profile shift); the blue line indicate the sliding (lower and balanced) generated with profile shift coefficients calculated by GEAR2000.

Note on Sliding:
During contact the tangency point moves differently on the two profiles and this results in a sliding that is null only at the point of tangency of the primitive diameters. Sliding has a profound effect on profile wear.
The optimum placement condition is that excessive absolute values are not reached and that the values between the drive wheel and the driven wheel are not too different between them. The use of profile corrections allows to vary the sliding.

At the end of data input, on the right side of the main window, new commands are enabled :
