HTD Pulleys

HTD profiles are used for high power transmission.

Available metric pitch:
            HTD 3M   (3 mm)
            HTD 5M   (5 mm)
            HTD 8M   (8 mm)
            HTD 14M (14 mm)
            HTD 20M (20 mm)

Teeth number must be between 10 to 216.


After you have entered the Main Data (red values) you must CLICK the CALCULATE button.
The Calculated Data are refreshed and you can shows next DIALOG, clicking Continue button.

The teeth are characterized by a full radius profile with a straight line that determines the pressure angle ( 7°).
Dimensional standardization sets the tooth shape characteristics for each of the five types of pulleys contemplated.
The dimensions and tolerances of the tooth are indicated in the following table.

From version 5 the software also calculates the profile for locking plates machining tool.
