If the tooth profile is incorrectly represented during the simulation, it may be necessary to act on
the number of points inserted in defining the side profile.
It is advisable to enter a point for each half millimeter of tooth height.
If the number entered is too low, the approximation of the side can lead to a variation in the
calculation of Over Pin or Wildhaber dimensions.
If the number is too high, the reduced size of tangent arches could compromise precision in
defining the ISO format.
Another unsuccessful result may occur if the root or tip radius does not conform to DIN standards
(generally too large) and are incompatible with the size of the tooth.
WARNING ! From version 4.04, the insertion of the 'Center distance var.' value determines
the display of the calculated backlash even in the solids simulation into 3D Window. GEAR2000 Help
