The standard can also be used to define ANSI B92.2M (Metric) profiles.
The standard includes modules between 0.25 to 10 (extremes included) and pressure angles of
30 ° and 37.5 ° or modules between 0.25 to 2.5 (extremes included) and pressure angle of 45 °.
Parametric dimensioning of tooth allow to leave the user freedom of action regarding the choice
of the module, pressure angle, and backlash; it is possible to derogate standard and generate a
fully customized profile .
By selecting US (User type options), it is possible:
- to insert full radius on both the tip and root diameter.
- to obtain the tooth circumferential thickness starting from Wildhaber or Over-pins
dimensions
Clicking Put or Get Circular Thickness button the following DIALOG appears:
Continuing the insertion of data, it is necessary to define the Number of points for calculating the
tooth profile:
Clicking Continue the program generates the profile and Solid button appears on the right of
window.
Press the Solid button and complete input data on following DIALOG:
3D model is displayed and many commands for output and export are now available.
